well, i know i have been slacking on this. was under the weather for about 2 weeks with a cold and still coughing from it but other than that everything is going okay. the baby shower went awesome... we got a lot of things that were really needed. i think i counted 15 packages of wipes and about 9 things of diapers so we should be set at least for a little while. the doc appointments have been going good. still trying to gain weight but it seems like i never will. ill be having my ob prep visit soon... where they walk me around the maternity floor and show me everything and get me pre registered. 6 more weeks to go and its all becoming kind of scary now. ive been having this really bad back pains that sometimes last for hours on end. the last time i had them i called the doc and she called me in a lot of medicine so hopefully the next time it hits ill be ready. i feel like i am a walking pharmacy... lol. trying to get everything prepared for when lil robbie does get here but i dont think we will ever be truly ready. sleep has been sparce too... i keep on waking up every few hours either having to go to the bathroom or just waking up because i can feel him moving around really strong. i guess in a way he is preparing me for a life of no sleep =) well, this post is at 215 in the morning so im gonna try to pass back out. blessed be

well, went to my doc appointment today. she said everything is going good. heartbeat was awesome... she kept on having to move the wand around to hear it cause Lil Robbie kept moving around... measurements are right where they should be... and i gained another 3 pounds... so ill need to gain 2 more then ill be the weight that i started out at. hopefully in the next month ill actually start to gain some real weight. now it starts coming down every 2 weeks. 30 weeks and counting... i cant wait. sometimes when he kicks it hurts but i know ill miss it when he is finally here. October 19th cant come fast enough

well, today mark and i went down to hanover and spent the day with mom and terry. he bought some kind of home entertainment system for mom so mark helped him set it up and got it working. watched 'the bucket list' and ordered pizza from chelsea general store... me loves their pizza. stayed there til almost 8 then went to his friends house for a dip in the pool. heated and lighted pool.. mhmm. after that went for a walk on the river and here i was looking for shells... lol. finally made it home about 12:30. had a very busy day but i loved every minute of it.

getting ready to go to my 'parenting' class this morning. i love the place that i go to. its called choices for women and they do awesome work. people go to a class every week and they earn 'baby bucks' which they can then use on baby items in their baby store. its a god send for people on a budget

well, i had my doctor appointment yesterday. this one was for the gestational diabetes testing. everyone was telling me how that stuff i would have to drink would be awful but it really wasn't. was told i gained 4 pounds so Ive got to gain 5 more and then ill be back to the weight before i was pregnant. mark and i wandered around a bit and then had to get my blood drawn... and i HATE needles.. plus they had to re-stick me because the lady didn't do it right. so it finally got done. now I'm just waiting to see if they will call me and let me know or if i will find out when i go back again in 2 weeks. its all seeming more real to me now since ill be going in a lot more. 28 weeks yesterday. Robbie moves around a lot each day and sometimes more than what i think he should.. lol. i cant wait to be a mom =) blessed be

4:00 pm just got the call from the doctor. all the tests came back normal =)

well, i guess the first post should be a little about myself. I'm 23 years old and a wife and getting ready to be a mom to a little baby boy. mark and i live in Seymour and I'm starting to really like it here. at first i hated it but it has gotten a lot better. we are trying to get everything ready for the baby and it seems like i have no idea what I'm doing but with so many of my family and friends helping me i know everything will be fine. mark and i had a quick start to things. met in September... married in December.. then found out i was pregnant in February. some people said that this was too fast but i have never been happier and i know that i could not have picked a better man to share my life with. plus the family love him so Ive got the best of both worlds. i travel down to Madison every week for 'parenting classes' so i know ill be as prepared as possible for when the big day finally comes. normally my mom and i go and i know that she enjoys being a big part of this experience. well, getting ready for my doctors appointment so i better go. blessed be
